Hello everyone.  I am pleased to say that we now have two new members of staff.  Both are here as carers and have worked in other care homes for a few years already. Of course,  they will go through our induction and training programme before they start to work fully alone,  but they are getting on well with everyone already!

We are planning to have a halloween party at the end of October. If you have any fancy dress items we can use,  they will be welcomed.

Hello everyone.

The inspectors made a surprise visit to us last week,  on the same day that the children’s choir were coming,  what a busy day that turned out to be!

I am pleased to say thay all seemed to go very well,  but we don’t get the full results until they have completed all of their inspections of other homes.  I will post the results just as soon as I have got them.

Many of the residents are knitting blankets for Pakistan.  If anyone has spare wool or knitting needles,  we can put them to good use!
